Bhutan Visa

Visa for Bhutan is issued only upon your arrival/entry into the kingdom. For your visa processing, you would have to apply in advance through a licensed travel company inside Bhutan (which, without saying, we qualify as one). As soon as you have made your tour payment, the Department of Tourism is going to approve your visa processing. A letter is issued by the Government here, a copy of which would be going to airport and road entry points to Bhutan. Your actual Bhutan visa would be stamped only upon arrival at airport or entry point at Bhutan border.

Tour Price

Yes, the Tourist Tariff set by Department of Tourism is US$ 200 per day in Bhutan. However, when you book directly with Alpine Bhutan Travel, which is a Bhutan-based tour company, you have instant saving of 10% since we do away with any middleman commission paid abroad.

Financial security is guaranteed. When you are making a tour payment, you would be depositing money directly into the bank account of Department of Tourism, which is an agency of the Royal Government of Bhutan. Department of Tourism maintains accounts in New York, London and Singapore where you can deposit the money by either wire transfer or account to account transfer. The Department of Tourism would then disburse the money in local currency to Alpine Bhutan Travel in Bhutan only after your arrival in Bhutan.

Refund of the tour payment is also guaranteed in case you are not able to travel to Bhutan due to any reason, (subject to terms and conditions of tour cancellation given below).
